Rome Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport (FCO)
  • The Airport is 30 km far from Rome – Southwest part. There are two possibilities how to get to the city centre.
  • train connection to Rome center (Fiumicino - Termini Station by train Leonardo Express), one-way ticket costs 11 €, intervals are 30 min and the way takes 35 min.
  • local train connection (Service FR1) for 5 € + from the station Tiburtina by metro to the station Termini for 1 €. The train is going in every 15 min. The way takes about 45 minutes and first train arrives at 5:48 to the airport.
Ciampino Airport It is 15km from the city (on Via Appia Nuova). There are 2 metro lines A and B in Rome. It is still the fastest and the most reliable means of transport on long distances. Lines A and B run from Sunday to Friday from 5:30 to 23:30, Saturday service is extended to 00:30.
